1. EXPANO WITH SOBOTA LAKE

2. CITY CENTER
Walk along the main streets of Murska Sobota and be wowed by majestic city houses with secession decorative elements. You are welcome to walk along immense modern parts of famous architect Feri Novak.

3. HRANILNICA PREKMURSKIH DOBROT
In one of the prettiest buildings in city center, which ones was home to savings bank of southern part of Železna županija, you can spoil yourself there with authentic Prekmurje goods, taste excellent wines and the best coffee in the city. Spoil yourself in the boutique local shop.

4. RAKIČAN MANSION
Five minutes away from the city center there is baroque mansion in Rakičan which is home to Research and Education Center. Rakičan mansion is surrounded by park with shrine. There is also stable with 15 horses and a small coffee shop.

5. FAZANERIJA
Fazanerija is one of the biggest forest complexes near the city which is intended for recreational purposes of city population with runway track, yearly swimming pool complex, tennis court and football stadium. There are several walking and hiking trails as well as a bike trail Pot užitka which hugs Murska Sobota and its surrounding.

6. CITY PARK WITH CASTLE
City park is one of the most beautiful preserved castle parks in Slovenia and is spread across nine and a half hectares. Near it by one-hundred-year-old oaks rests Renaissance mansion in which is museum and MIKK youth cultural center. In warmer months park comes alive with number of social events.

7. POMURJE MUSEUM OF MURSKA SOBOTA
One of the most known regional museums in Slovenia will impress you with its permanent exhibition of history of Pomurje from prehistoric times until now. In 1999 museum got prestige acknowledgment by European museum forum. Its quarters are in castle in the middle of city park.

8EVANGELIC CHURCH WITH AVENUE OF MARTIN LUTHER
Welcome to amuse yourself on the avenue of Martin Luther where in colder months you will see festively decorated ice skating rank full of youth and special program near festive hourses. Near it is Evangelic Church of neogothic style in capital of protestant religion. Church is connected to castle through Trubar avenue.

9. MURSKA SOBOTA GALLERY
Gallery is a home to many exquisite regional, Slovenian and foreign artists. In its regular exhibition there is over 689 works of art from painters and sculptors as well as on paper medium. There are also creative workshops that invite families with children. Walk down the street of Štefan Kovač offers cultural delight with the sights of Mura sculptures that have found its home along this street.

10. BUNKER

We recommend Bistro Bunker, apocalyptic steampunk bar. Bar with original and attractive ambient which offers a wide range of gourmet burgers and has one of the largest selection of beers in town.
