Invitation to join the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism
The Slovenian Tourist Organization invites you to the presentation of calls for entry into the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism (ZSST), which will take place on February 9, 2022.
ZSST is an umbrella national program with the help of which the sustainable development of Slovenian tourism is promoted. Destinations and tourism providers of various services can join the scheme. By joining the scheme, they acquire the right to use the Slovenia Green sign and additional inclusion in the promotional activities of the Slovenian Tourist Organization.
The presentation of the call will take place online on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, according to the following schedule:
10.00 – 10.30: Why and how to join the Slovenia Green family (Maša Klemenčič, STO)
10:30 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.: Presentation of sustainable and environmental signs for providers (Tina H. Zakonjšek, GoodPlace Sustainable Tourism Factory Institute)
So far, two hundred bearers of the symbol have been included in the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, among them are quite a few destinations, accommodation, attractions, tourist agencies, nature parks, restaurants and one swimming pool. The included destinations from Pomurje: Moravske Toplice, Ljutomer and Razkriški will soon be joined by the destination Murska Sobota. Holders of the Slovenia Green Accommodation sign are Hotel Bioterme Mala Nedelja and Panonska vas. The regional promotion center Expano is in the process of obtaining the Slovenian Green Attraction mark.
It is precisely because of the consequences of the health epidemic that they focus even more on the development of responsible tourism. It is the wish of STO that as many holders of the Slovenia Greem sign as possible support the story of green Slovenia
