Get a Green & safe sign

Slovenia was one of the first countries in the world to gain the opportunity to use the global safety sign Safe Travels (WTTC) of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which supports the sign and communication platform of responsible travel standards of Slovenian tourism GREEN & SAFE.

With this, WTTC recognized Slovenia’s efforts and care for the safe travel experience of tourists in our country and supported the established health and hygiene standards, included under the sign and communication platform of responsible travel standards of Slovenian tourism GREEN & SAFE.

Tourist destinations and providers are invited to use the sign and content of the GREEN & SAFE communication platform in communication (websites, social media, news, accommodation…), which will communicate even more uniformly and clearly the advantages of Slovenia and key information for guests during the resumption of tourism . In addition, the Slovenian Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Slovenian Chamber of Tourism and the National Institute of Public Health, prepared a manual entitled Responsible Travel Standards of Slovenian Tourism. Under the new GREEN & SAFE logo, it encourages responsible, safe and sustainable operations of tourism providers and destinations.
